Rochester Th!rd Act Elders
Empower elders to protect the climate and strengthen our democracy.
Third Act was founded in 2021 by environmentalist and author Bill McKibben. (Bill McKibben on Bluesky) The organization specifically mobilizes Americans over the age of 60 to use their collective influence and resources to address the climate crisis and protect democratic institutions. Since its founding, Third Act has rapidly grown, organizing workshops, voter registration drives, and large-scale protests, such as its first major nationwide demonstration in March 2023.

Over 250 subscribers follow Roc Th!rd Act Elders and a smaller group meet on the third Thursday of each month at 2:00 pm in the NYSUT Building at 30 North Union St. Rochester, NY, 14607.
